This Pricelessness

She came upon a blog. An old blog, actually; who found love with someone she knew and then love was lost. The journal rants that belong to someone she doesn’t know but tickles her heart. Lily’s words often feel like it is her own heart’s Murmuration.

In her mind, she takes Lily gently into her hands, and hug her so sincerely into her soul. The hug that tells her, and gently breezes her with:

“You are beautiful. You are smart. You are intelligent. You take care of your own heart. You are wonderful and your words seem endless to me. Your poems linger on within me. You are a poet. You are loved. Even more so priceless, because you are loved by you.”

A love that was lost, means you are about to find a greater one. And the one where it is for yourself is the most priceless to find.

Lily reminds her of herself. The edges and rounds of what she knows her own emotional strengths are, her own acknowledgement and leaving them humbly on the ground; where even explaining the humbleness has its own uneasiness.

She longs in her heart for Lily be graced by love that she deserves. She prays that Jack will see what is valuable. This love that separates. Love to have faith. Love to bend. Love to appreciate.

“Don’t you miss it when we laughed? Or the times when we corrected each other while the other was learning? Or when you caught me looking at you folding your sleeves? Or when I caught you looking at me as I finished praying? Or that time when we both fell in love with our child? “

Sometimes people need to realize what is wrong, to learn to do right. Sometimes it takes many times to even realize what is wrong, even more so to do right. But all is never lost. Especially when it is to make you realize things that cannot be bought, and later realize that the priceless things you have is tailor-made for you.

She knows she has learnt something new again today. Silently she prays that Lily and her little girl will be graced by God’s love and protection.

“Thank you God, for gracing me through Lily, even if the writings hasn’t been touched since  July 12, 2013. They seem timeless and effortless as You are. So please continue to let us see what You want us to see, and learn what You want us to learn.

May we all be folded in Your grace. As Jack, so he can see, appreciate and try to gain back the beauty within that cannot be bought; as Lily and their child are all priceless in His grace.”
